Hello!

 I am Maya, the creator and owner of Five Wild Picnics, and I am so happy you are here. 

 I have many passions in life and the way to unite them all was through Five Wild Picnics. I have a gypsy heart and I am always craving adventures and to be outside. I am a mom of two remarkable human beings. I am also a very visual person as my soul is nurtured by the play of colors and juxtaposition of objects that oddly and beautifully complement each other. I am a keen gardener and a maker of many things. I am also a lover of foreign languages and cultures. To prove it, I am originally from Europe and I have lived here for quite some time. Also, I earned a Master’s degree in Spanish and I taught it for a few years. I love food- to make it and to eat it. Also, I am a firm believer that food tastes best outside, in good company with a lovely tablescape. Hence, Five Wild was born.
