At this time we do not provide any food and drinks. You have full control and a wide array of options regarding the accommodations of your guests’ gastronomic tastes and food restrictions. What we can offer is to coordinate and pick up your order from a local business for a small fee.
The price includes a picnic set up for two people for two hours. That is plates, fabric napkins, placemats, table runners, candle holders, floral arrangements, pillows, baskets, blankets, silverware, glasses, and napkin rings. some of these items vary depending on personal preferences, as well as on accomplishing desired aesthetically pleasing combination. Sometimes, additional Items might added for the same purposes.
Yes, there is a deposit of $100 ($200 for parties of 12 or more). The deposit is to reserve the date and to cover reckless damage to our equipment. It is required at the time of reservation and will be returned after we have ensured that our possessions are intact and not damaged beyond the point of repair. As we have mentioned previously, many of our items are unique or rare, bought from antique stores, overseas, or handmade and they are precious to us and hard to replace.
We serve within 50 mi radius of Madison City. If your event is outside this radius, we could accommodate within a reason for additional charge. Contact us for more information, we would love to serve you!
Sure! It will be an honor to be part of your special event. We work with an extremely talented photographer and we will be glad to connect you with her if you wish to do so. Otherwise, you are free to bring your own photographer. Feel free to tag us on your social media.
Your site has to be accessible by a wagon and not extremely remote from the parking lot. Consider that there will be a lot of things that need to be carried out for your event. To ensure a positive experience, choose a flat site.
If it rains, you can either come up with a plan B location in advance that is covered or we will be happy to move your event to a different date.
Currently, our limit is 20 people. The theme offered for parties of more than 10 is Boho Decadence.
It is best to book at least two weeks in advance. Some parks require a permit and we need an ample amount of time to acquire it.
I’m obligated to tell you that alcohol is prohibited in public locations. So it’s up to you.
If a client cancels their event 4 days or more before the event, their $100 deposit will be held and applied to a future event. However, if a client cancels 3 days or less before the event, then the deposit will be forfeited. In the rare occasion that Five Wild Picnics cancels due to adverse weather conditions (rain, heavy wind, etc.), then we will work with you to host the event indoors at the scheduled time or reschedule it for a later date.
Luckily, there are plenty of spaces to choose from in the area. Public parks and private yards are among the best options because of the conveniences available. Ask us for specific recommendations.
Your event has to end before sunset, especially if you are in a public space. The reason is that it will be challenging to collect our equipment if it is dark and also there might be safety concerns.
